Some times ago I checked to use BLink for unique indexes and it can be used with minimal modifications.
If you handle calcite and lookups (it shouldn’t change so much from actual secondary lookup) I’ll write the BLink unique secondary index version

Oggetto: [Herddb-dev] Working on Unique indexes

Hi guys,
I am going to work on UNIQUE INDEXES implementation.
We need it for MagNews.com

0.20.0 release (current master) is already full of important bugfixes and features

I will start with the in-memory implementation, like we need for Secondary non-unique indexes,
and I will cover one of the hardest parts, that is to introduce locking for secondary indexes.

Then we can introduce a persistent implementation, probably using our BLink implementation.

Cheers
Enrico
